Business goal
The main objective of the project was to develop an MVP that addressed the gap between the demand and supply of technology talent, allowing companies to find and hire developers with specific technical skills they need, while providing developers with a platform to access job opportunities aligned with their skills and interests.
Methodological Approach and Techniques for the Product Discovery
- Benchmarking: Analysed other recruitment and technology talent platforms to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Ideation Workshop: Brainstorming sessions with industry experts to generate innovative ideas about the key functionalities of the platform.
- Prioritisation Matrix: Rank features and functionalities based on their importance and feasibility.
- Stakeholder Interviews: Conducted comprehensive interviews with various stakeholders, including companies with open positions and developers waiting for opportunities, to better understand their needs, challenges, and expectation.
- User testing
Some product discovery findings
With the insights gained from our research, I designed a high-fidelity prototype of the MVP platform. Key features included:
- Analytical Dashboard: Provides companies with detailed information on the performance of their job positions and the progress of the hiring process.
- Company and Developer Profiles: Enable companies to post their open positions and developers to showcase their skills and experience.
- Matching Algorithm: Uses AI to efficiently connect companies with developers who best fit their needs.
Concept 1

Analytical Dashboard:
Optimization of Charts: An intuitive bar chart was used to compare the number of assigned employees with those on standby, offering a clear visual representation of resource distribution.
Relevant Metrics: Including the overall gross margin, were integrated to allow for a more thorough assessment of financial performance and company profitability.
Empty seat: The projects for which they need people.
Concept 2
On the one hand the "Open Seats" in which they need developers.
On the other hand the "Filled Seats" where the developer can be replaced.
The CTA that creates new positions.

Smart matches
Smart Matches: This section displays candidates who best fit the position, offering intelligent selection based on specific criteria.

Candidate Profile:
In this section, the complete profile of the candidate is visible, detailing all their relevant skills and competencies.
Contact and More Information: Users can directly contact the candidate or access more information about the company quickly and easily.

Results
The prototype design was crucial to validate the idea's viability with investors and key stakeholders. Thanks to the user-centred design prototype, the team was able to secure initial investment to advance the development of the MVP. In addition, the companies that participated in the initial validation tests expressed an interest and contributed early feedback prior to development. This allowed iteration before development.
